7 Days Tour in Morocco from Casablanca

Your 7 days tour in Morocco starts with pickup from your hotel or the airport in Casablanca. We begin with a visit to the magnificent Hassan II Mosque — one of the largest mosques in the world, perched on the Atlantic coast.

We then drive north to Rabat, Morocco’s capital, where you’ll explore the Kasbah of the Udayas, the Hassan Tower, and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V. After lunch, we continue to Chefchaouen, the famous blue city nestled in the Rif Mountains.

After breakfast, feel free to wander the blue-washed streets of Chefchaouen — one of the most photogenic towns in Morocco. We then drive to Fes, the oldest imperial city and spiritual heart of Morocco. You’ll arrive in Fes in the late afternoon, with time to relax and explore at your own pace.

We continue through Midelt and descend into the spectacular Ziz Valley, arriving in Merzouga in the late afternoon. A camel trek carries you into the Erg Chebbi dunes to watch the sunset over the Sahara. Dinner and overnight in a Sahara desert camp, with Berber drum music around the campfire and a sky full of stars.

Wake early for sunrise over the dunes — one of the most magical moments of your one week in Morocco. After breakfast at camp and a camel ride back to Merzouga, we drive to Rissani, a historic desert town and gateway to the Sahara.

Next, we continue to Erfoud, Morocco’s fossil capital, before reaching the dramatic Todra Gorge — a 300-meter limestone canyon with a shallow river running through it. You’ll have time to walk along the riverbed and take in the towering rock walls.

After the gorge, we drive the legendary Road of a Thousand Kasbahs toward Boumalne Dades.

Finally, we cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass (2,260 m) and arrive in Marrakech in the evening.
